Ajmer man booked for pronouncing “TRIPLE TALAQ” to wife on SMS
On the basis of a woman’s accusation, Imran, an Ajmer resident, had a case filed against him, according to investigating officer SI Manish Dangi of the Khajrana police station.
According to police, an Ajmer man was arrested for sending his wife a triple talaq through SMS. Through a matrimonial website, the woman wed the defendant.

She claimed in her lawsuit that she married Imran a few months earlier after divorcing her first spouse. She had connected with the defendant via a dating website and informed him that her three children would be moving in with them. She insisted, and he agreed, leading to their marriage.

The woman claimed that after her marriage she discovered Imran was previously married, which caused them to argue. She then claimed she went back to Indore. She claimed that Imran sent her an SMS demanding triple talaq. The accused is the subject of a case, and police are looking for him.
