Al Minhad District in the UAE has been renamed Hind City by Vice President Rashid Al Maktoum.
According to a report from news agency ANI, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the vice president and prime minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the ruler of Dubai, renamed the Al Minhad neighbourhood Hind City on Sunday.
Hind City has Four zones make up, are home to UAE citizens. It covers an area of 83.9 kilometres. The city spans an area of 83.9 km and is divided into four zones: Hind 1, Hind 2, Hind 3, and Hind 4.
According to ANI’s report, Hind City is connected via important roads like Emirates Road, Dubai-Al Ain Road, and Jebel Ali-Lehbab Road.
Al Minhad and its surrounding areas were renamed after the ruler of Dubai issued instructions.
Authorities in Dubai have renamed buildings and areas in the past. After UAE President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the former ruler of Abu Dhabi, the Burj Dubai was renamed Burj Khalifa in 2010. His demise occurred on May 13, 2022.
In the nation, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum occupies four significant posts. He serves as the UAE’s vice president, prime minister, and defence minister. In addition, he is the ruler of Dubai, a position he assumed after his brother Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum passed away.
